This policy has due regard to all relevant legislation including, but not limited to, the following, Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
The purpose and scope of this policy is to prevent bullying from happening between children and young people who are members of Wright Theatre Arts, to make sure bullying is stopped as soon as possible if it does happen and that those involved receive the support they need and to provide information to all staff, volunteers, children and their families about what we should all do to prevent and deal with bullying.
This policy applies to anyone working on behalf of Wright Theatre Arts including; principal, teachers, volunteers and chaperones and student helpers and students. The policy covers children under the age of 18 and/or vulnerable adults under the age of 24.
